OH MY GOODNESS, I AM FOREVER INDEBTED TO YOU!! I was having the utmost difficulty understanding geometcdf because my teacher had been trying to teach us to find cumulative stuff via sum(seq( something something something but that confused the bejeebers out of me!!

& then a math major from UCLA that tutors at our school helped me via the summation tool on my calculator, but knowing now that I just merely geometcdf (p, n) THERE'S HOPE FOR ME YET!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

I've told everyone in my stats class about your videos and now everyone watches them for every chapter! We don't have a very good stats teacher so your videos are very helpful. Also, we love all your different shirts that you wear!! Bam!! Just wanted to let you know how useful these videos are.

@mariahrose318318 The first the the mean of a geometric distributions..."the average number of trials to achieve your first success". The second is the mean of a binomial count..."the average number of success in a fixed number of trials."

Well...that is a tough question. My notes match the notation/formulas in the Statistics book I teach from, The Practice of Statistics. Your book must use different notation??? Which book are you learning from. I would like to see if your textbook is in my small collection of stats books.
