How To Plant Potatoes: Planting Potatoes On A UK Allotment.

A step by step guide to planting potatoes on a UK allotment. There are different ways of planting potatoes, but this is what works for me.

There are two common ways of planting potatoes. Planting the potatoes on the ground, and then piling the earth up around them to form a ridge. And the methodology I use down here on the plot, which is to dig a trench about a spade’s depth, and then plant the seed potatoes along the trench.
