So what are your thoughts of white privilege in Japan?

My white privilege in Japan got me stopped by police on an almost daily basis when going to and back from work, granted it was in Roppongi, not the best place, but still ... then i decided to go off at Azabujuban instead of Roppongi ( 1 stop difference ), never got check by the police ever again :D . Strangly enough i was talking to black guys that are bouncers in the area, they told me they never get almost checked because police are too intimidated by them .... take what you want from that, but yeh .Thats is just my experience from a specific area of Tokyo ( god i hate Roppongi ) never had many issues elsewhere .
I find that as a foreigner, when you are white you are more approchable from a japanese perspective, but you are still a foreigner at the end of the day :) .
This was my experience from a decade ago, things may have change a lot though, i will see, heading there to see family in law next month :) .
