It is safe to say if I was in Paul’s situation I would have wet myself laughing at myself.

I was going blind in high school. In P.E i would just run after the groups of other kids.Were they on my team? No idea,
What were they actually doing? No clue, but i chased after them none the less.

Have you read the autobiography of Jean Little? She was a blind children's author and when she was in college, her friends needed an extra person for their intramural basketball team so she signed up just so they would have enough to play. In the middle of the game, she just happened to see the ball, so she caught it and passed it to her team mate. And the crowd went WILD. She got the sports moment you missed out on.
