As the director of the agency, she is ultimately responsible for every thing that happened on that day. That being said, she was not actually present, so the direction of the assets on the ground at the event are the responsibility of the Agent-In-Charge of the detail. If as she stated that the assets requested were present, why wasn't the venue scouted ahead of time and places like that roof identified as risks? This would seem to be SOP. Maybe I missed that part of the past week+ where the aforementioned agent was questioned. A timeline, but no specifics? That's bizarre. One last observation. Why is it whenever there is a congressional hearing, it quickly devolves into a circus of berating whomever the witness is by those who are supposed to be maintaining a sense of decorum in the proceedings?
