Honestly Bless you for making such good videos. I'm sitting here full on panic mode because my CS final is in 9.5 hours and I don't understand file permissions, but then your video swoops in and saves the day!

It's worth mentioning that for the student to see contents of assignment1 (3:22), he has to be a part of the students group.

As student is not in the sudoers file (can't use sudo), the simplest way to do it is by first switching to root with `su` and then you'll be able to assign users to groups with `usermod -aG <groupname> <username>` command.

I need to change ownership of a mounted drive and all I get is "operation not permitted"

Does anyone have any idea about the password to input? It keeps asking for a password, but I didn’t set any password. Please, I need help with this; I’m new to Linux, lol.
