In a very short time. I went from 0 handstand pushups to popping out 10 reps at a time because I would find the part where I was struggling to finish the movement. And just hold. I'm glad my gut lead me in the right direction

Instead what ya’ll can do is a 1-2 count. More muscle growth happens in the negative. So if you were to do a bicep curl instead of just dropping it right after the lifting of the weight. What you do is you double the amount of time on the negative that you took for the positive. More time under tension is gonna = more growth.

I use the Heavy Duty method since 1989. I have been a coach for more than 30 years and I have used many training systems like all of us. I can speak with rotundity that it is the most effective system to gain muscle mass, as long as you apply it with knowledge. It does not serve talking about hears ... I am currently 58 years old, I am 1.90 cm and weight 120 kilos of muscle mass. and no, I do not use drugs. It's a pity, that people think without even reading or knowing minimally the Mike Mentzer system.

My step dad told me this as a kid. When i was only using 10lb dumbells. That slow, controlled movement is the best. He didnt mention holding in position but ive always listened and it works.

This is very true. Holding the weight gives you better connection to that muscle and works every section of that muscle to failure .

These are wise words. Focusing on the concentric and eccentric movements have done wonders in my muscle growth. Form and making the mind muscle connection is key!
