Holding the weight works best when there is resistance in the contracted position and you have to really fight to hold it there. Like when u do a dip and are holding at the bottom and squeeze.

Except it has been proved that holding the weight is extremely less productive as compared to pulling the weight at full extension and controlling the lowering of the weight on the way down.

Well generally I find when I'm doing a curl I have to pull it up to let it down slowly

Let’s look at his actual measurements.

I once asked Mike what his arms had taped at their largest, and his answer startled me: ‘About 18 1/2 inches.’

Arnold and literally every Olympia from Jay cutler, Ronnie Coleman, etc etc all had 22-24 inch biceps, that means mike was 4 to 6 inches smaller than the big boys. Mikes chest when he competed with the 1980s was not only twice as small as Arnold’s, but he placed 5th because he had the smallest chest out of the entire troupe on stage.

So where does this goat material come in? Smallest measurements of muscles times in he was only 5’8. He was not only a short stuff, his measurements were mediocre at best, and pathetic to the big boys on stage, the chest is the first thing the audience sees, so these clowns getting fed by mike and his fanatics eating it up are delusional.

The most important part about his methods shows he didn’t enjoy or had fun lifting weights, like all other pro bodybuilders, he treated it as a problem to be solved, this is why his attitude was stink towards his competitors, while he was trying to find short cuts, they were having a blast working out. Anyone who doesn’t love their craft is dead from the start. The only thing that he had that made him bulky, was steroids, as the golden era they were readily available in cheapness and availability.

Mike wasn’t even a contender, he was a novice, this is why he never won a single, not one, Olympia, if you wanna throw shade on Arnold’s favoritism, why didn’t Mike pick up any other year competing?

Because he was a small guy, and lee priest was smaller than him, but lee focused on both the anabolic intake and the long hrs to sculpting, not trying to find short cuts to bolt out of the gym. His science is what the scientifical community would call pseudoscience, which is flawed science. Not backed up by any merit.

Mike has zero merit, Arnold had a slew of trophy’s not just in Olympia but Mr universe, Mike was a joke. So like the take goes, train like a loser get results like a loser. To top it all off, majority of his fans don’t take 1/1000th the amount roids he was on, where he says himself over and over and over he is a avid user and abuser, this is where his size came from, so tell us clown, if already his size was mediocre with the adding of all those anabolics, and he didn’t win anything, what makes you think by doing only his work outs and not taking steroids will yield you? Not even 1/10th his results.

Mike like all golden era bodybuilders owe their bulk in the anabolics legality, not the gym techniques, anabolics like trenbalone turn cows from average to freaks without lifting weights, and yet you wanna make up all this bullshit about its lifting skill and technique.
