The Nun - Ending Scene (HD)

The film concludes with a clip from the first "Conjuring" movie in the present day where Carolyn Perron (Lili Taylor) is watching Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) give a seminar on their encounter with the possessed Maurice, who later committed suicide. His contact with Lorraine caused her to see visions, and unfortunately for her, it would not be the last time that she encountered Valak.

I seriously didn't expect this at the end when I first saw it. Such a brilliant way to connect the movies. I wish Irene would've had some sort of interaction with Lorraine. Despite the hate, I personally really loved the Nun and I have to say that it's one of the better movies in the Conjuring universe.

So for the people confused about the timeline or saying this scene doesn’t make sense now, this is how it goes in chronological order. You have the nun part one. Then you have the nun 2.then you have the conjuring, then you have the conjuring 2. The nun 2 takes place after the nun and before the conjuring. Even after the nun 2 Frenchie is still possessed. Time passes and he ends up going through this exorcism (which imo failed) because he ended up dead not long afterwards. At this point valak needs a new soul to take so he can walk among the world. All this leads to the events in the conjuring 2 in which valak is finished off for good.

I absolutely loved this twist ending and how they tied it in...I love when they do that especially if you go to see these movies live when they first come out over the years

Ed and Lorraine Warren wrote an entire book on Frenchie (Maurice) from this movie. It’s called “Satan’s Harvest”. It’s the story of his demonic possession. I read it and it was terrifying. Highly recommend it! ♥️

1:24 Fact: This clip was taken from the first Conjuring movie from 2013 and if you will see this same clip in that movie where the clip of that case is playing you will notice that it is not Jonas Bloquet who played has Frenchie there is someone else there, looking kinda old and it showed that his eyes was even bleeding.
