The inspiration behind this video:

There is already precedent for Valak having survived the events of the timeline of The Nun. The demon's first appearance in nun form occurred in 2016's The Conjuring 2, setting up the new branch of the expanded universe. That movie took place in 1975, considerably later than the events of either The Nun or its sequel, while Annabelle: Creation even teased of Valak's existence prior to the former movie via Sister Charlotte's photograph from sometime in the late '40s or early '50s.

Valak was seemingly defeated at the end of The Conjuring 2, when Lorraine uses its true name to banish it back to Hell. That being said, the demon also seemed to have been vanquished at the end of The Nun with the use of the blood of Christ sealing it away. With Valak confirmed to have survived by latching a part of itself on to Frenchie, it seems possible The Nun II could end with a similar possession situation ensuring its future survival.

Honest review to anyone who hasn't watched it yet. This movie was better than previous one. This one has better story, better characters, better sound effects and it is also scary but not like first one. Overall review much improved from first one. I recommend people to watch and enjoy it. No spoiler but this movie directly setup conjuring 4 and the nun 3

Honest opinion, this one has a good story, but the first one was more scary. This one relied heavily on jump scares and didn’t give that feeling like you need to look over your shoulder like the first one did. I say the 1st one was better

for a movie called the nun, you basically get NUN of her.
This tailor is miss leading, I hate when they do that, the opening scene was pretty good (would of rather scene that story) then we get a boring story about a girl being bullied. I found myself thinking man when is the nun going to show up through most of the film. The middle slows down so much I fell asleep. The ending was really amazing though. The actors did their job, the story was a bit boring. would of enjoyed this more if I was a 12 yr old girl. Over all you need more NUN scenes in a movie called the NUN.
