You couldn't get rid of the Catalytic Converter in the UK, it would fail the MOT on emissions after three years when you need it anually.

Is it true what I read online about the Smart that service and parts are difficult to find whenever it may need it?
I'd go for the Smart, pre-owned of course, but the issues I described make yours truly leery in finally pulling the trigger, so to speak, on purchasing one. Your thoughts, please, and thanks! Peace...🙏♐

Interesting, we get a more flush glovebox compartment here in Europe. I used to own a 2008 Smart Fortwo 451 convertible. Was a lovely car but so many cons. Now I own a 2016 453 with low mileage, it’s loaded with all the options. It such a better car overall. Love the way it looks. I hope smart won’t stop making these in he future, so much fun!
