Well, I think you did really great I think that’s excellent. I just bought one yesterday 2013 100 thousand kilometres on it. I paid $2500 I don’t know anything about cars this car for sure everything seems to be in good working condition but I’m taking it to the garage next week. Get an oil change and have him check it all out. I’m in New Brunswick.

My Smart Passion has 117, 241 miles on it. I get 39 to 48 mpg. they all have stiff rides like my friends Z3. I bring it into a Benz dealership for anything. No engine problems yet.

Huge cars/trucks, Huge idiocy! Smarts are great cars! Don't expect them to be like your giant shiny commuter truck with mags. They have a hard ride, but they go, they stop, are surprisingly roomy and infinitely maneuverable. Most people should be driving something this efficient and small. Avoid the deeper potholes!

I own a 2008 Smart car it only has a little over 47000 miles on it, i see how you noticed the slow acceleration in the car when you first take off, that is one thing i dont like about the car i feel as if there is a delay and a jerky transmission, the car sometimes has little hiccups and you feel as if you have to push harder on the gas to keep the car going, all of this im talking about is in auto mode not manual, i never drive it in manual gear, and very windy days driving freeway speeds the car sways side to side so much it feels as there is a great struggle to keep the car straight. Plus i dont think the car has power steering in it mine takes quite the effort to turn the wheel.

I had a 2009 smart car Passion model for 5 1/2 years with not one problem. Just oil change with new oil filter. Tires needed changing by then but not one problem. When a tire specialist tells you that nitrogen in tires are stupid since nitrogen is already in the air...no dummy it worked for me for 5 1/2 years w/out having to add air all the times & paying for it...the tireman is stupid (most likely because it takes business away from him on the long run) LOL North Carolina, USA

I have a question regarding this car I have one similar like this is an 451 smart fortwo with 71hp but the problem is when I stay a lot in the trafic the coolant is very hot I put even an OBD2 to see how hot is but I never let more then 95C. When I start the AC everything became to normal and the temperature drop to 85C. The question is what could be??? The temperature sensor or the fun of the radiator?? Tnks sorry for my bad english I'm not native.
