My resource officer in high school was in a similar vein to this guy. Super funny guy, always laughing, and was more open to talking to us than the guidance counselor or any of the teachers were. Helped so many kids, me included. I would not be on the path I’m on if not for him and I couldn’t be more grateful. He passed away recently but man he was a special person. RIP Officer Gainwell.

These kid are getting a lesson in that the police is part of their community and care about them.When he talks to them they will listen because he has shown a willingness to meet them on there level and look great doing it.

This is the officer that makes you turn yourself in crying while he walks you calmly to be arrested.
Years later, you become a lawyer, look for him, introduce your beautiful wife and new born baby telling him thank you for caring. ❤
