In trying to resolve the question of quantum gravity it is best to start with the General Theory of Relativity (GR). The problem with quantum theory is that the underlying physical description is not clear or understood. There has been a debate about the underlying physical description of quantum theory ever since the mathematical equations were developed and it is still unresolved (Copenhagen interpretation, many worlds and more).

Starting with GR it was known early on that there is a wave solution to the equations and gravitational waves have now been detected showing that wave disturbances of spacetime propagate through space at the speed of light. Light and matter particles are proposed as wave disturbances of spacetime. Everything then falls into place in a coherent picture of unified physics.

come on now your going to have to be smarter than that! The sheer lack of creativity is frustrating, seeing supposedly grown intellectuals grope about in the dark is amusing, as they are so quick to front that they have the slightest clue of what is actually going on.
