Very good. I got my tyres filled with a sealer which, when they’re a puncture, seals the hole. I’m disabled so it’s a big help to me.

The repair kit should be permanently attached to the bicycle. It's for the bicycle so there is no need for it to ever be removed.

Every two and a half meters, the rear wheel moves up and down by 3 centimeters. This repeats 40 times over 100 meters. If a bear is chasing you, just keep walking.

Alternatively one time I got a flat and didn't have a patch kit but what I did have was a bottle of super glue and so all I did was put one drop of super glue and waited for it to dry and it worked perfectly

Берте суперклей-гель, наносите на прокол капельку, чуть потянули в стороны, чтобы она вошла внутрь прокола, и посыпаете пищевой содой. Затем накачиваете колесо и едете. До 20-ти проколов на одном колесе - и можно ездить. Главное - капелька не должна быть большой, 2 - 3мм достаточно.

I once got caught out with a puncture and no kit. High in the hills, rain pouring and 3 miles from home. There was 7 of us and no kit between us! Numpties .. but one friend had an idea . We packed the tyre with grass as tight as possible . Got me home, happy days

The inner tube post the knot is prone to blow up given the increased pressure. If it blows up the tyre will pop off the wheel. It won't be pretty. Don't cut corners. Have an extra inner tube or some patches.

At least don't lie about not feeling that knot. You will feel every single bump on that front wheel and it's going to jump like crazy.
Edit : tubeless is the way to go anywhere

I’ve always kept a bag on my gravel bike I use for leisure rides and commuting to work. I keep a park tool multi tool and a patch kit with a couple tire levers too. An air pump is also attached to the bike. Most repairs can be made with these tools. Definitely important to keep tools on the bike itself
