I did this with the cheap version of this kit. It lasted for 5 years. It should probably be repaired from the inside. But it’ll do short term.

I used to repair small holes in my ATV tires like this, I didn't want to buy a kit like this so I used a some rubber from a bicycle inner tube, some screwdrivers and glue for shoes😂. The punctured tires lasted for several months and a lot of burnouts and drifts before I changed them to sell it

A lot of people are missing the point of this video. It's a $2 temporary fix for when you are on the road and have a tire puncture. With this temporary fix you can then drive to a nearby station and buy a new tire.
Without the fix, you'd have to call a tow truck which would cost on average around $150-200.
