Don't be discouraged by fewer views. Great series in the EFI. I love the nerdy stuff!

It feels like you should be on Patton's recommended list of installers as you have now added yet another specialist skill to your already large repertoire.

I thought this was a great series! I don't know if I would install a TBI on my car but I have been curious about the system since I first read about it. As far as the originality of the car. I've already modified the suspension and engine. I think the only thing stopping me from installing the Patton system would be the cost. The important thing is to keep these cars on the road! The better and more reliably they perform, the more likely we will continue to see them on the road.
Another great job! Thanks Elin!

As you say, learning and knowledge are exactly the prime reason for watching those videos👌

Good analogy with the running shoes. I'll use that one!

Great series. Excellent arguments of Pro vs Con. As far as reliability, properly installed and set up, which is part of the initial investment, this system is far superior. This is the exact system that we were all driving in the mid to late 90’s. How often did those break down? How often did we get stranded? If you bought a new car back then, this is what you got. Other than originality, this system is far superior and reliable to 60’s and 70’s technology. We’ve evolved. I am +1 on making it better if possible as long as it still looks mostly original.

Great channel, very knowledgeable guy and willing to progress. I believe the main purpose of keeping these cars on the road, was to make changes for the better as necessary.

It's so good to see Patton getting behind his product and offering advice as to what may be wrong but who knows if he'd do that for everybody. That engine was sounding sweet to what I could hear. Good video!
Oh ... by the way .... Please clean the keyboard sitting beneath your monitor. I know it's in a dusty workshop but can you keep a cloth over it. He he he!

Thanks Elin, I agree that having the knowledge is excellent for me even though I do not plan on adding the system to my TR 6. Even at 75 years of age I want to learn more. Thank you.

I enjoyed this series. I get both sides of the originality to modified positions. Personally on my project car I've gone with modern electronics and an SDS fuel injection system. These are very basic systems compared to today's engine management systems and they are pretty reliable. I might have missed this in the earlier episodes but if the ECUs are old stock or refurbished units I would be concerned with the surface mount capacitors failing. In any event thanks for your efforts Elin.

I had electronic ignition on my 1963 Jag and it made the car so much more predictable and easy to start. Ran great all the time no matter the conditions. It was installed in a stealth kind of way so not many would know by looking.

Elin this series has been great. i look forward to the followup 4th episode.
Personallh I would like to experiment some day with some form of EFI on one of the Triumph 6 cylinder engines, but didnt know where to start and had little understanding of the components and how they work together. This series of videos have done a greqt job explaining it. Thank you for that!

Elin, I'm all for the different investigations, expensive but fascinating. Hope someday you do a series on Webers

In the UK the TR6 came with fuel injection ( Lucas mechanical fuel-injection ) and produced 150Bhp rather then the 125Bhp North American cars with carburetors had as stock, I believe it also had a different cam. The benefit of fuel injection is that it can be tuned across the rev range rather then having an optimal tune for a certain rage as with carburetors, in theory it's also more fuel efficient but I'm not so sure about the older mechanical systems that were fitted as stock.

Excellent editorial concerning pros and cons of the system. For me the only con would be the cost.

Great video series. Thanks for sharing this "learning experience". I think Anna is quietly drooling over in the corner. 😁
