I see you were in Submix mode. What happens to the Trim feature in Free mode?

Thanks. I have a RME9632 and always find my input Level (via SPdif - Focusrite MicPre) a little low and Ableton barley registers a viewable waveform. (I always clip gain the audio to see it afterwards). Its a Dynamic Mic and I push the MicPre Gain very high but not sure how or if I can boost the RME input instead, using an internal gain control. Any thoughts?

You should also have mentioned that with the trim button pressed, the fader show the value of the loudest submix send!

Hello, I have a UCX II, and am using a Widows PC- The T-button in TotalMix Fx does not respond when I click on it. It seems permanently lit up- therefore I cannot raise my input faders. I want to turn it of so I can have control of my input faders again. Is there a way to fix this?

A question on Fireface UC. The volume knob affects the panorama in my Phones submix. Why?

Great info - finally getting the hang of TotalMix, thanks to all your videos! I'm impressed by how mindful RME was in designing it. Just upgraded to a Babyface FS from Focusrite Saffire 14 and old MOTU Ultralite firewire interfaces. What a world of difference! May try using the MOTU as an ADAT converter into it for my synths, keeping BFS for mic stuff.

Dude, you just forgot to mention that you have to SET THE VOLUME in EACH channel before clicking the trim button!
