Please please add Dynamics to the Babyface Pro (FS). I can not understand why the Babyface has no dynamics...
I know that an extra FPGA is required to do this, but why is this missing in the Babyface? I see no reason why RME do this.

Is it possible to add these to basically just the monitoring of that track without baking it into the input/recording? So that I can record with the compressor, and hear it, but not have it record the compressor?

Hi Guys. When I enable in RME settings "Eq+D for record" — Ableton starts to recording mic with maximum level in the middle of the range. And it doesnt go higher. Why? Maybe a limiter in RME is working in the background?

If I have a device that can be standalone (i.e. UCX II), can I set up the device using TotalMix and then use those settings in standalone and/or class compliant mode?

Note that the rme baby face pro version of total mix does not have dynamics

I really wish the Babyface Pro FS offered some way to add a compressor, even if it's not DSP and has to use my CPU. I can think of several ways you could achieve this, but maybe I will have to hack my own solution? Is it possible to route app/system sound through the Babyface to an outboard compressor and back in for monitoring when using this interface for teleconferences?

I have version 1.63 of Totalmix FX on my iMac, but not seeing any Dynamic option, Why? I am new to this and can't really get it how to add reverb or echo. I have done everything like it said on the tutorials, but no success.

This sounds cool, but the killer feature would be that you let us apply VSTs on totalmix channels (let us record throught the comp of our choice or apply room correction plugins on the output)!
