At youb next dentist visit, they can quickly numb, and clip the bottom of your tongue so you can move it better. It might be something to try. We did it for my son, who was considered tongue-tied, but spoke very normally.

I don’t know what type of lisp I have.. but when I say my s’s my bottom jaw slides to the left

Ugh someone help me. I think I have more of a lateral lisp but I can’t hear it! I make sure the airflow is coming over my tongue but when I listen to my voice it sounds slushy! No one tells me I have a lisp but my s always sounds terrible. I had speech therapy as a kid but apparently it never completely fixed this problem.

I will say I notice I favor one side of my mouth when I say my s sounds... would that have anything to do with it and how do I really fix this?

i have "sh" lateral lisp, when i grin large and then trying to say "sh" it is normal. How can i do it permanent?

My sister has the same speech pattern as these two women; CNBC's Lori Ann LaRocco and YouTuber Alexis from BlackForager. One of these woman's speech pattern could be blamed on the presentation of their dental pattern but the other woman and my sister dont have it and both have the same issue. What is their method of speech called?

i have a lisp but i cant seem to find any like mine when i research it. my tongue doesnt really touch the roof of my mouth. the sides of my tonge do a tiny bit but usually when i say 's' i can feel air escaping out the front and it sounds like 'sh' for example if i say 'astro' it sounds like 'ashtro'

is having difficulty saying words that consist of two of the same letters right next to each other consider a lisp? for instance, i have a lot of trouble saying words like better, letter etc

I dont think lisps can be cured. If you have an S lisp then you're kinda fucked. Especially if you are doing telephone/radio work or even if you want to make a YouTube video or do online gaming. It's a life of ridicule.
