In Episode 2 Baby Blue Balls gets some new parts. Before the coyote swap we needed to get this thing rolling so we could sell some more stock parts. We upgraded to a 8.8 with full Strange Engineering parts & 3.73 gears (We forgot to mention ratio in the video as well as we did weld the axle tubes). Race Star RSF-1 Pro Forged Wheels were our pick for this project and they are AWESOME. We also wrapped the Race Star wheels with Mickey Thompson rubber so check the links below for more info!

Must be nice to be in charge of well known Mustang shops and make videos about Mustangs. I would love it. I like to be an employee just to learn the trade and I wouldn't even ask for a paycheck. I hope this doesn't anger you I know you started from nothing and worked your ass off to get where you are today.

You probably know this
Make sure your coyote is built
The oil pump gear and mmr chains and chain followers are good to go.
Luv your blue steed.

I would like to see SHR quarter vent louvers on the project, the same ones installed on the cobra jets. Not a performance mod but it would look great!

I will be swapping my 2008 v6 with a 2016 coyote engine which also comes with the automatic transmission that comes with the driveshaft as well. My question is will the stock driveshaft fit my stock 2008 rear differential assembly?

You may want to weld and brace those axle tubes.

not enough gear in my opinion . if she's all out drag car the rear gear needs to start with a 4. 4.30, 4.56 or 4.88. all depending on your tire diameter

I think you should add a Bullitt grill to it though it wouldn't fit I don't imagine.

Where did you buy the 8.8 rear end at? I live in Texas and can’t find anybody to rebuild my rear end without it making gear whine noise with 3.73 gears.

Do you recommend that rear end setup for someone that drives their car on the weekends? Can you drive it in the streets?
