REEF'S Rc Servo Water Test!!! (5 Days in the Water)

I really support this company and to show my confidence in them, I decided to dunk one of their Triple 4 Servos in water for 5 days. Watch to see if it will hold up to the pressure of the water. This test was performed under the supervision of Reef's Rc products.

Do Not attempt this test with your servo unless you are willing to break it. They are waterproof but intentionally submerging in water should never be done.

This test was a controlled environment with clear undisturbed tab water. Dirt and debris in water found in nature could potentially damage the servo.

Maintenance should be performed if you find your servo in these conditions. Case should be disassembled so any water that might of found a way in, can drain out. bearings should be lubed. reassemble.

Cool test, thought it was in acid looking at the bubbles lol.
Saving mine for a new project when I get some more funds, love this servo...
I now have a pulsar quantum xq30v thermal scope and will have to see how hot the slash is after a good run, It has a updated to a brushless motor so is very fast now.

That's a pretty cool vidio. Should split the case and see if its wet inside. Also wanted to share some good news, or at least I think it's good news, I got a trx4 kit for Christmas. The 444 is rated at Waterproof, along with the 555. The 422HD v2s and the 777s are rated at Submarine waterproof standards.
This is very good info. I have 2 trip 5s and a 422HDv2 in my Gen8 Axe rig. Also, I have a pair of the Micros and another Trip 5 coming for the SCX10 III kit I just got.
