Through recent personal research/shopping I found that if you're like me and actively AVOID water there are some hugely strong, perfunctorily fast, respected name brand servos for $25+ cheaper than equally high torque 'Waterproof' rated servos. I personally was very glad to find this.

In a pinch you can use nail polish clear or colored as conformal coating on electronics. Works great!

Here's a pointer you probably already know Joe
....as a last ditch-effort to waterproof a reciever....if you have some thick Synthetic Grease...I usually have Cow RC Udder-Butter on hand(that don't sound right. Lol) ...just use your finger to smudge a thin layer around the esc casing where it snaps together and unplug all the wires from the ports and put a few drips of grease in the ports and plug everything back in. I've done pretty nasty mudbogs like that...absolutely no problems. Just us a rag later to clean it. Obviously you'll always have a little grease inside the receiver but it's never hurts anything.

I'm new to Reef's stuff but am really liking what I've been able to get my hands on thus far. Cool vid, I got a good giggle out of the CR410 going full submarine. LOL "One more time... just one more... one more" - *car sinks to the bottom*

Why are you doing that to your truck. Because it's soooo much fun!! Lol. At least I know I'm not the only crazy one. Thanks for sharing Joe. I had to watch twice. LOL

Better give it a good coat of Wd-40 to keep those screws from rusting. Awesome video. Electronics may need a rice bath to pull moister out 🤣😆🤣

A great servo seems powerful enough to use in the gas 5th scale the one I race smaller lighter than the big gas servos.
You would probably find that using plastic wheels may have given more wheel speed I find on my UDR and SDT I can gain a little more wheel speed is gained I was surprised how much better the UDR on 4S was with plastic wheels not so much with the alloy on 6S, same with the SDT also a little better on 6S as opposed to to 8S I run with the alloy wheels.

Hey Joe when are you gonna put it on your servo tester to see how strong it really is? Love watching your videos btw keep up the good work bud.

I was thinking of putting the Raw 500 in my XMaxx too. Looks like it’ll hold its own against the 5th scale servos and should be a lot easier to install in place of the stock monopolized servo. smh
