I think we all can agree that there’s a special euphoria that we get when we hear a new Metallica track for the first time, and thanks to Bryce, we get to feel that again, every time he uploads. Thank you Bryce!

Masterful mixing (no pun intended) vocals are as close to Justice I could imagine them getting, there is, in fact - bass unlike most of the AJFA covers which leave it out for the reason of "ajfa super quiet bass = no bass at all" it's a great touch, especially after listening to the album so many times you can catch the bass lines in some parts of the tracks from that album. Not to mention - godlike guitar playing, that solo is SO from AJFA and not to mention - this FEELS like Metallica and it feels like you're listening to that classic Tallica track you've listened to a thousand times for the first time again, you've earned my like. Keep up the great work
*EDIT:* I noticed you included the live ending to the song once Metallica finished this absolute bone crushing track, another amazing touch.

I love the fact that the intro reversed sound almost like Blackened's intro

My two cents: I dig the slow, fade-in intro a la Blackened. I'm not 100% sure if it's being played backwards or not, but it sounds like it could be. Lots of little details are leaping out at me: You've added an extra slide to the riff (0:44) and changed some of the notes (0:47). I love the snare @ 0:51; it's very punchy and a good way to launch into the song. The audible bass is uncharacteristic of vintage Justice (0:52) but sounds awesome from a recording standpoint. Nice tom strike (0:57) to vary up the drum pattern. That thrum @ 1:01 sounds a bit dense, but I like it, playing-wise. The riff, here, has some added hooks and twists (1:04-1:10) that make it sound similar, but ultimately different from, the original. Nice bass insert (1:12) as well; less of an overt presence throughout the track, and more of an occasional spice similar to how Rob was treated on Death Magnetic.

James voice has been deepened, but he almost sounds like a different singer (1:15). That is, he's lower-sounding than his Master of Puppets self, but doesn't quite sound like he would on Justice, either. Love the staccato notes @ 1:31, and the chorus riffing (1:31-1:35) is on point. No complaints. I can hear potential small nod to the opening riff to Blackened (1:41-1:43); it's subtle, and very well done. James' voice might sound unlike himself, but it still sounds amazing when he shouts "Battery!" out of the blue (1:48)—especially when it's followed up by audible bass and double bass. More double bass @ 2:06. The toms-and-china pattern (2:17) is neat, as well. This might sound like a list of cool things I'm rattling off, but this is what I'm noticing so far and I love all of it.

The bridge transition a la Blackened (2:30) is awesome, complete with the steady kick and background harmonies. The bass slap capping off the crescendo @ 2:48 is sweet, but so is audible bass, in general. Much appreciated. The counterpoint here, establishing the main voice, followed by the additional voices, sounds incredibly awesome from a composition standpoint, but you've also managed to preserve the sound of the opening notes as heard on the original recording. They just have a Justice-type arrangement now and it's great. There's a bass harmonic(?) at 3:28, followed by a dandy of a solo. It resembles the original, but the dynamics and style are totally Justice; also the trills at the end really remind me of Frayed Ends of Sanity (correction: Dyers Eve), which is awesome.

After the solo, it's back into the verse, aided along by yet more double bass (3:58). The start-stop pattern @ (4:35) during the chorus, is great, as is the dramatic pause @ 5:01 (more audible bass, too!). Not 100% sure about the bass fill towards the very end (5:12) but considering it's really the only thing that stuck out as a potential negative, that's quite an accomplishment! The rhythm is the perfect blend of Puppets and Justice, and virtually every experiment or change in the song adds something new and fresh without sacrificing an ounce of momentum or power. This ranks up there with your best work, if not being the best thing you've recorded on your channel up to this point. And if you have more songs en route then I'm over the moon! Keep 'em coming! \m/
