I had an issue where I could talk at the party or Discord with my mic but couldn't pick up game audio. Then, when I started messing around with the audio and music tab, I was able to pick up game audio again. GOD BLESS YOUR SOUL. THANK YOU, MAN!!!

My headset is plugged into my Xbox and it works perfectly on my pc but when I plug it in that audio and music tab is greyed out but my headset is plugged in

This just abruptly started happening to me, bought 3 new mics nothing works. Turns out all the headsets work on other xboxs. Tried other controller both controllers work on other Xbox and mic works fine. Nothing in this video or the other 30 I've watched helped one bit. Ready to just bash this Xbox into the pavement outside.

I have a xbox series x and just got the captain 560 headset.
Everything is linked and i can hear the game and online players. I watched other help videos and turned up the headset volume. Everything works fine on the headset but the mic. I plugged and unplugged, turned headset mic on and off, even started my own party to hear myself but still nothing need help....
