THAT IS NOT TRUE, PEOPLE PLEASE RUN ♥️ the word of God says, "The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:” in ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭3:21‬ ‭KJV verbatim. And the word says, “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one BAPTISM, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” -Ephesians‬ ‭4:4-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬. And if you read the book of Acts actually everyone who believed was baptized in the name of Jesus (Acts 2:36-42 the gospel)(Acts 10:37-48)(Acts 16:14-15)(Acts 16:30-33)(Acts 19:1-7)(Acts 22:16) KJV. Even if you confess the Lord, you're still expected to repent and be baptized, (Acts 8:26-38) is a perfect example of that. The eunuch confessed and was immediately baptized. The Lord expects it (Mark 16:16 KJV) He warned us!! And in another section He said that only those born of the spirit and the water will enter the kingdom of God. If He is your Lord, why would you trust otherwise? Why? And how can you ignore Romans 6:1-6? Galatians‬ ‭3:27‬? Colossians‬ ‭2:12‬? YES, baptism is necessary and it is a part of the actual gospel. Not the fake stuff people are hearing being led astray. We must believe God and His word over everything.... Also it is actually “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:8-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Never ever stop at verse 9 but always include verse 10.

God sent His Son Jesus to die for your sins. He came and they crucified Him on a cross. He died for your sins on that cross, and God brought Him back to life on the third day. If you believe this, you must repent of all sin, be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of your sins, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a true promise for you!

Amen, I got baptized 3 weeks ago. The LORD DREW me back to him 7 months ago and I say drew because I could NOT be a follower of Christ without the wooing of His Holy Spirit. I love using Romans 6 that we bury our old way of living and raised to newness of life.

Nowhere in Sacred Scripture is baptism presented as it is in this video. Nowhere!

Point on! Baptism is something we all should do as soon as we become a Christian and understand what Jesus did for us

Baptism IS required for salvation! Here’s why:

THE BAPTISM WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

John 3:34 - Jesus was given the Spirit in full measure, no limit.

THERE ARE THREE MEASURES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:

1. THE INDWELLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Received at baptism (Acts 2:38)

2.BAPTISM WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
Characteristics in Acts 2 and Acts 10
Promise (not command), Acts 1:4-5

- Predicted (prophesied)
- Came without warning. (People were not praying for it.)
-Languages

Purpose: to usher in the Kingdom with power

Accounts of baptism with the Holy Spirit

1. To the Jews - in Jerusalem (Acts 2)

2. To the Gentiles - begins with Cornelius (Acts 10)

Note: Cornelius and his household were water baptized in v. 48. They were saved at baptism.

Peter explained actions to the Jews (Acts 11:1-18).

"At the beginning, " (Acts 11:15)

Does the Baptism with the Holy Spirit still exist today?

Ephesians 4:4-6: There is ONE baptism - which one? (Written about 60-62 A.D.)

There are three options:

John's baptism - passed when new covenant began (Acts 19:1-5).

The baptism with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2 and 10). No longer present as it was a prophecy/promise that has been fulfilled. It was never a general command for all Christians.

Baptism with water in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins to receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus commanded this baptism (Matthew 28:18-20).

This baptism is recorded all the way through the book of Acts and the epistles. 1 Peter 3:21 (also written around 62 A.D.) makes reference to this water baptism of salvation.

It had to be the one baptism of Ephesians 4:4-6 as it was the only one practiced by 60-62 A.D. when Ephesians was written.

THE MIRACULOUS GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
- Received by the apostles' laying on of hands.
- No longer present today.

Yes you have to be baptized. It's an ongoing operation. You have to be baptized in jesus's name only.
