Love the Word of God. Jesus saves and it’s simply by believing on Him. Of course the religious Pharisees of today won’t, we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishnesses, we today still find this. Well guess what Gods ultimate power display was in Jesus Christ The Creator The God Man The Almighty God became a man born of a virgin and was crucified. The preaching of the cross is to them who perish foolishness but This is the power of God to us who are saved. Jesus being crucified was God commending his love toward us thst while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. It is the power of God to believe on Jesus Christ and his finished work, not the wooden beam but Jesus Christ being crucified is preaching of the cross. Him as Savior and Son of God taking our place, we as sinners cut off from God are presented to God the Father in the sacrifice and display of power in Christ on the cross. You and me friends, we are one in Christ, if we believe on Him whom He sent. We are sons of God, as many as received Him to them have he power to become the sons of God. It’s cuz we believe by faith. Jesus is our substitute. He took our punishment He took our place. He bore our iniquities he bore our griefs. Upon Him was our sins he bore our sins according to 1pet 2:24 in his own body, being dead to sins should live unto righteousness, by whose stripes ye were healed. The spirit of Judaism is still in people they call themselves Christian’s yet they are offended by the cross being preached as the only way of salvation. Well that’s how God designed salvation was by faith in Jesus Christ and His death on that cross. Jesus is not separate from the cross and a cross less Gospel is not the gospel at all. It’s by the shed blood of the lamb and faith in that blood that makes us right with God not man made denominations or church attendance or how much u give to ur church. None of that and God says all that’s filthy rags like womens menstral rags to him. Jesus Christ is it, and rest in the fact that God declares us righteous believe what He says about you not what u feel not what church’s say or pastors believe on Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved

This literally gives you the "how" to que question "how are you born-again".
Remember how right after talking to Nicodemus about being "born-again", the text mentions: "After this, Jesus and his disciples went out into the Judean countryside, where he spent some time with them, and baptized."

You are creating a dichotomy that is not supported by your verse. We are saved by faith, but baptism is a medium we put on Christ. He explains this clearly in vs 27. You are misreading Paul's writing. Are you telling us that this event that is done in the name of Savior Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin is a empty ritual (Acts 2:38)? You lack a true understanding of Paul's teaching of Justification by Faith.
