Jim, I've watched the whole series of these videos now as I'm planning to replace my old C80 and radar. You have done an excellent job. Before watching I was considering Garmin or B&G as well but after watching these I will be buying Raymarine again. Mission accomplished! Keep up the great work.

Yes absolutley in areas where the Navy is testing the coordinates of the no go zone during their testing is posted and placing a box at those coordinates would be helpful to stay away, that would be a great option

I would also like to be able to define no go zones as well. On the west coast we have many restricted fishing areas with more coming which would be a great application for defining a no go zone on the chart.

Jim: Love the segments - learning a lot about my Axiom system. Question for you: Can I set up an "alarm" to notify me when I am close to a particular area? Would love to be able to set up an alarm called "LOW BRIDGE-DROP ANTENNA" when I am approaching a particular overhead bridge near us and have the alarm pop up on the screen/beep when I am close. Have almost forgot to drop the antenna a couple of times and don't want to snap it off!

Really enjoy these sessions. Will be installing an Axiom+ 9" with Quantum Radar this year. I typically use my old C90 with all the data boxes below the chart. I have yet to see a rendition of a split screen with typical sailing instrument data on one screen and a chart with radar overlay on the other.

these videos are amazing. I have echomap 7sv, and using it for season. at some point stopped using it because except depth it became pretty much useless to me. I got lost in settings. On black Friday went to get 9sv for second boat, but after playing for 10 min with element 9hv just end up getting element. between simplicity of os and these videos even echomap become more useful to me.

The no go zone feature would be great for marking no fishing zones that are designated by California fish and game along the California coast. Has that feature been added, if so will it be included in a software update?

Hi Jim, thanks for all the videos, even though I have watched many hours of them, when I'm on my Axiom 12 RV I still feel like I've only scratched the surface of learning all the functions. My question today is; can I link my twin Volvo-Penta diesels to the Axiom engine display?

I like the multi user feature for the "time at the helm" tracking. Is there a way to keep the screens synchronised with multiple users?

Two questions, if I may: (1) If you auto program a route on an Axiom 12 and it generates numerous way points through a creek or channel, can you delete some of those waypoints to avoid having to hit OK for all waypoints? (2) If a programmed route takes you through a channel or creek and you wish to disengage autopilot to navigate that leg, what is the proper sequence to disengage auto pilot and then re-engage it when the leg is completed?

Hi Jim. Thanks for all this information you are sharing with us, I'm sure it helps a lot of us. My question relates to routes and how to display the route without the waypoint clutter. is there a small round icon, say 1/4 the size of the red disc icon, or can we get one added to the current batch of icons.

Another question. My boat has twin Cummins QSC8.3 engines. And so far using mercury vesselview. I just upgraded to Axiom+12 and bought raymarine ECI-100 engine interface.. can you explain what is the best way to integrate this so I can activate and use the dashboard view option while still having the Mercury vesselview for back up. Thank you once again…. Your live program has been very intuitive, informative and super helpful, especially when you live in Indonesia where there is no proper customer service that has adequate product knowledge.

I have a Sailboat, all my instruments are Raymarine latest model and all updated with the latest version of software, when I synchronize all with the light intensity of the screen it works, when I change from day to night mode, the autopilot and wind screens not change.

Jim, I noticed that another viewer had a question last evening about the RealVision 3D images. Are there any tricks or tips that you can provide to get the bottom images that we see on the simulator? Is it necessary to go over the same area a few times to re-plot in order to obtain that good bottom image? Perhaps it's a topic within a future episode? Thanks and keep the good information coming.

Jim - LOVE these sessions - thx for doing them! I have an Axiom system (9 & 12) and use Navionics+ charts. I'm quite confused about how to search/find marinas. For example, I'm in Oxford, MD and want to find marinas in Solomons, MD (or perhaps a specific marina like Safe Harbor Zahnisers in Solomons, MD). Is there a search function that allows me to do that? If so, pls describe and thx very much for your time. Jim
