You can hear an announcement on the ship that says "Calibrating Alcubierre drive" so the FTL isnt just "like" an Alcubierre, it is one.

I love the nod to the fact that the ships constantly have a dramatic wind to billow capes.

On the note of the after-credits bit, The Expanse books actually mentioned this briefly. They have laser weapons but don't use them much. The one time an anti-infantry laser comes up in the books, it takes out a few guys before they use a smoke-bomb designed to block lasers to stop it. Similarly, the martian light armor available to the crew of the Rocinante is apparently ablative to reduce the effectiveness of lasers. Just thought I'd point out yet another cool thing the Expanse brings up

Fun fact: the FTL drive in Helldivers actually is an Alcubierre drive. It's even refered to as such in-game!

I like that the Hellpods don't require any propellant. "Blow it out the air-lock" is just the start of a Helldiver's day.
