Oregonians can pump their own gas starting next week

The bill was passed in late June and Gov. Kotek faced an Aug. 4 deadline to take action on it, but she didn't indicate what she planned to do until Friday.

Finally. And end to this idiocy in Oregon. I live in Vancouver, WA, , and the very few times that I have had to get gas in Oregon, I always wondered how long this crazy, absurd gas law would go on, as I waited for the so-called "attendant" to remove the gas nozzle from my car as I was not permitted to touch it at all.

It’s nice to have the luxury but it’s faster to do it yourself and it’s sad having people work in the freezing winter and hot summer conditions

My guess, she just let it go? Anyways, the last party i would EVER vote for is "r, " but i still can't help but feel sorry for the disabled in Rural Counties, because almost invariably, there will be times that noone will be available to pump FOR them?!!

Credit card scammers are salivating for this opportunity…. If people want to pump their own gas, then they should go back to whatever state they came from and pump it over there. SMH

No gas station attendant means you’ll get robbed pumping your own gas. People will get killed. Stay safe out there yall
