Subway's biggest problem (notable scandals aside) was they stopped letting franchisees order local produce daily. Now, they're only allowed once a week, twice if they have high sales. You can't "eat fresh" on that schedule.

I got an ice cream cone from DQ in West TX in 110 degree heat. It wasn't good. So I threw it on the ground outside. The next day it was still there. Not melted, not covered on bugs. Just still there, whole, in 110 degree heat. My brother and I were like, never eating there again. 🤮🤣

I've found Churches Chicken to be bland and has ENOUGH OIL TO PERFROM AN OIL CHANGE IN YOUR VEHICLE...yes...Churches Chicken is GREASY... I'll pass 10 BILLION Churches Chicken locations to get to one Popeyes!

I get subway very often in my hometown, it's super fresh and delicious. But when I travel I've noticed that subways tend to be very bad, old vegetables and meat. I guess I'm lucky to have one of the good subways.

I'll also say that local chain establishments blow the national and international chains out of the water. I get my fast-food burgers from a place that has 2 locations...total...and I get my pizza from a very small chain that doesn't deliver...carryout or dine-in only. Once accountants get involved in a restaurant's business, everything turns to crapola.

My complaint with Dominoes, was the time I ordered a pizza and 4 HOURS later, it still hadn't arrived. The branch that I ordered from was only 2 blocks away. I live in a retirement home and many people don't have the physical ability to go pick up their orders. In our neighborhood, a local company has gained our business and we have abandoned Dominoes.
