Do you ever get confused on what things to really carry for a Himalayan? Then welcome to watch this video. Going for a Himalayan trek is all about planning and plotting for every minute on the mountains. Even a slight extra load or missing of an item means trouble. So, making a pre-planned list and then preparing days ahead is necessary for wonderful trek memories.

I had trekking poles that I could not easily collapse. I should have invested in better ones. I also had an older phone for my camera. I missed out on some good photos although I got many great pictures. Have a newer phone with a battery that lasts. I am homesick for the Himalayas although I spent less than a month there! The ONLY other place I have ever been homesick for is Burning Man in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada, USA & I was just there for 10 days by invitation of my son who lives in Reno, Nevada, USA 2, 600 miles or 4, 180 kilometers, from me. He's lived there for 26+ years since he got out of the US Air Force.
