What Makeup Does TSA Allow In My Carry-On Luggage?

I have a secret for those who are stressed with one bag… I pack two 😂. By the time it gets scanned they don’t know who’s bags are going back to who! I always have two clear bags!

Tip: the TSA and most airport securities do not care how many containers you place inside your quart sized bag as long as they are 3.4oz containers' so even if you have a small baggie you can just fit everything you need in it... ✌️

Use a clear cosmetic bag instead of a Ziploc bag. The cosmetic case is wider so you can fit more items. Ive never had a problem going through TSA security wth it.

⚠️keep in mind⚠️

if you have tsa pre ✔️ then you do not need to fit your liquids in a quart sized bag. however, they still must be 3.4 fl oz (100ml) or less. this is also only if you are traveling from the us or traveling from some places in canada. example: you’re flying from miami to são paulo, on the way there you do not need to put your liquids in a quart sized bag IF YOU HAVE TSA PRECHECK. however, on the way back from são paulo to miami, regardless of tsa pre check or not, you still must put all of your liquids in a quart sized bag, take your shoes off, belt, take large electronics out of your bag (anything bigger than a cellphone), etc. i one time was traveling back from vancouver canada and tsa pre check was valid there. just make sure you check before you go. i recommend bringing a quart sized bag and making sure all of your liquids will fit inside of it just in case :)

Cleansing balm does not count as a liquid in the US TSA rules so I take that.

I’ve traveled with some liquids that were 4 fl Oz exactly in my carry on luggage, most recently last summer I think. But if I’m traveling within the states (Chicago to Maui) can I still bring 4fl Oz? I’ve only gotten stopped when I’ve flown to Mexico which obviously isn’t in the states 😭
