Society and media made us more immature. It's not even looked down on anymore if you have to move back in with your parents in your 30s because it's actually hard to make it on your own now. Rent has gone up everywhere and wages haven't. The people born in the 60s had it best when they grew up and it was time to buy a home, the housing market wasn't shit.

So you’re saying being an adult does not mean a person gives up fun things, just their self-centered feelings? They do not bury emotions, just think before acting. They care about not only their own but others’ feelings. Thank you. If this is true, I think I know what I need to do. I do not give up watching cartoons, enjoying toys, or playing games, I just give up thinking only of myself and instead become considerate of others’ feelings. Thanks!

I hate immature adults who think they are mature and the problem is everyone except them

I had an experience with this, an adult who became so childish in communication through text messaging. It blew up to an over exaggerated extent, that I had to approach the person in face to face contact. The best way possible to address the matter at hand was to remove the 'story line of the issue' and focus on the behavior during the process. It shocked the adult as I gave him no leverage to discuss the story line, but the behavior during the event. Holding him accountable to it, addressing his bad behavior and explaining my thoughts on how I felt towards his behavior. I have explained to this individual many times of the months prior to this that I have no interest in him, though he continued contact and follow through. Addressing the subject clearly and in face value contact, reinforces how serious the behavior has come.

These types of people are just repulsive. When I realize I’m dealing with one they suddenly lose all credibility in my eyes.

In spiritual aspect these kinds of people are what we call in the bible " brokenhearted". Also we should all admit that at some point in our lives we are in a state of immaturity and stop pointing fingers to other people. Sometimes we focus too much on other people's mistakes that we are blinded on the fact that we have our own mistakes too albeit in a different manner or aspect.

But thank God because He is close to the broken hearted and wounded and He is able to heal those who comes to Him. 😊

I know of a few adults that have every single trait here so my question is: is there any solid evidence as to the root cause of this crippling "disorder", like an overbearing or absent mother, abuse or even a parent so resentful of their child that they try to control every aspect of the child's life? Great insights here, tks.

It's okay if you are a child at heart but ACTUALLY acting like a child especially in a NEGATIVE situation is very very bad and unacceptable behavior!!!

How do i change it in myself? These rage tantrums are not easy to experience, you literally can't control yourself. You think after and feel ashamed. How do i live with it? Should i isolate myself? I keep losing great people because of my temper. I'm a mess
