I can listen to this guy all day. Listening to him talk about his faith with such humility and inclusiveness is so refreshing. He knows what he’s talking about when it comes to policy, he’s honest about himself. I wish more politicians were like him. Socially progressive, fiscally conservative with a proven record, it’s no wonder why we democrats are huge fans of yours.
“We’re all equal in the eyes of the Lord.” I couldn’t have said it better myself.

The first time I ever heard John Kasich speak was during the Republican primaries, and I was VERY impressed. His views were so close to my own that I began to wonder if I were really a right-leaning Democrat or a left-leaning Republican. It's true that Republicans have gone off the deep end and need somebody to bring them back. Maybe he can make another run for it in 2024. Very impressed with this man, very very impressed.

A man that earns respect. Talking about debt. As a foreign watcher of US politics, I added up state debts and federal debts: added up, the 2018 or 19 debts and liabilities, divided by the 2020 population estimate used by the US, we get to $145, 423.87 debt. A 7 person family has over 1 million debt at state and federal level combined.
The problem between the states (with acceptable debt) and federation is that the president is used like Santa Claus who pays his bills by running the dollar printer and borrowing money. What would the credit score be of this system, if we applied US banking and credit card logic? Not so good.
Looking at the California GDP, highest in the US, there's 24% of the population under the poverty line and if we add these two aspects up, the picture is not a pretty one. You may not want to pay taxes, especially if you have no income, but you really need to step up one way or another.
The Obama era saw 8 years of improvement of the debt picture and then building debt exploded again.
You can be a university professor or son of a postman and understand something needs to be done. And then you elect a billionaire in debt. Seriously?

I haven't voted republican since Daddy Bush the first run. I could vote for Kasich. Common sense. Fiscal conservative. Understands the role of govt.

Most politicians should at least be as open minded as this man. Whether they are on the right or the left. At least he leaves the door open for the other side’s argument.
