John Kasich was elected the 69th Governor of Ohio in 2010. He turned an $8 billion shortfall into a $2 billion surplus, cut taxes by $5 billion, and has created more than 460,000 new jobs. He also supported Medicaid expansion, refused to support Republican efforts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, and declined to endorse Republican nominee Donald Trump after his own unsuccessful bid for President.
