My self harm all started from the words used towards me, I let it get to me and saw no value in myself because of all the wrong people around me. It made me ill. The verbal abuse. Please try to surround yourself with joy. It helps a lot.

Ive been kinda down lately because they are plenty of people on the internet that has been blasphemous to my religion, and i try to forget it cause its just the internet, but for some reason i could never forget those insults, its funny how a random person in the internet could make you feel this bad.

To stretch your analogy to make my point: if someone, believing a hundred dollar bill to be worthless, tears it to shreds, then his opinion is a self fulfilling prophecy. The same might happen to a maligned individual who gets mobbed every time he tries anything because of the character assassination he has been subjected to.
