Even I had faced the similar issue when it wasn't even Corona time.
I was travelling from Bangalore to Heathrow.
Delhi airport staffs need to change their attitude. They behave as if all the passengers are terrorists 🙄

I was at the gate of Bengaluru international air port to take an international flight. The security madam at the gate was having chit chat with a person who was not the passenger. We requested her to have our identity verified and allow us to go inside. She did not care but took our passport and ticket and again went on chit chatting. We repeatedly requested her that we were getting late to take the flight. Other passenger s behind me left the queue and joined next line. We pleaded with the nearby security to have our check and allow us to go in. He too did not care. After half an hour she just looked at us, ticked the ticket and threw the passports on our luggage and went away
. Passport is the property of the Indian Government and throwing it on the luggage is an insult to the Indian Government and our nation. Whom to complaint, we did not know and we had no time to approach any officer above that security madam.
