I feel like the evil outweighs the good in today’s society I have tried so hard to look for the good in people and I always get disappointed it’s not my fault either

All behavior, whether good or evil, emerges from thought, which emerges from intention, which emerges from the entropy state( level of certainty or hidden information)of a perception. Whenever someone is uncertain about the outcome of a future event, they formulate intentions rooted in fear. Fear is simply an uncertain perception of the future, and the root of all evil. When ever someone is uncertain about survival, avoiding elongated periods of pain, or achieving their subjective goals, the possibility of choosing fear based intent arises. Fear is not real, it is simply an uncertain perception and we can control how we frame our perceptions. There is no debating this.

If all actions are determined by our nature then that makes the pursuit for freedom an impossible goal. It is only the existence of free choice that liberate the human. There is more than one motivating force in the human. There are actually three

If the institutions are responsible for the evil in the world, those were still built by us. The rules of the universe forces us to survive & do what we must, sometimes that conflicts with our hopes & fears. We dream as gods & act as dogs.

'Good' and 'Evil' do not exist. They're concepts that arose out of religious traditions, and they only really make any sense within that context. It shows how powerful religion has been in the formation and development of society that those two abstract concepts, which have no basis in objective reality are still front and center and fundamental in any discussion of human nature.

There _are_ two diametrically opposed components in human nature, which have always had a huge impact on human existence on a daily and even moment to moment basis. Those two are 'Intelligent' and 'Unintelligent.

When human beings act intelligently, beneficial and desirable things are the result, when they behave unintelligently the opposite things result.

Any discussion that centers on 'Good' and 'Evil' is a waste of time, because the only thing being discussed are outdated and irrelevant concepts which only exist in culture and language as relics and remnants of an earlier time in human development that is long gone.
