2) This doesn't replace my first look, or riding review videos. This is a quick glance at the info we have available online, and my thoughts based off the info we have.
3) Bravo to Kona's marketing team. The copy on their website is actually useful, not overhyped buzzwords. I also want to give their web person props. This is one of the most straightforward bike info pages. Geo table is front and center, specs are right there, and there isn't a ton of hype. The bike speaks for itself.
4) Next episode: Yeti's ARC.

I think manufacturers absolutely should send Hardtail Party their bikes for review. Especially in these COVID times where more people are at home and YouTube videos are thriving. I totally wrote KONA off a few years ago when they weren't keeping up on geometry and other specs that I found valuable and here we are with this video and I'm considering them again..

I don't watch any competitive mountain biking stuff, but you actually sold me on the mmmbop.
I think especially hardtails, especially the non XC ones, could benefit heavily from YT advertisement, because there are a lot of hardtail lovers who ride them out of passion, not because of numbers on some time trial or race. So especially companies who make such bikes (like this one, which is obviously a fun machine, and not really a race bike) should really rethink, even (or especially) if they offer cheapish ones and think they are just a "cheap" lower end product vs their full sus lines.
At least in regards to what they offer with this thing, Kona seem to see the trend for the aggressive slackers.
Still more of a aluminium tubing guy, in terms of aesthetics, and 27, 5 for funsies, but that thing still looks beastly.
