Destiny 2 Expansions are now FREE... if you speedrun them

Is it possible to beat the entire Lightfall campaign in Destiny 2… and then get a refund? According to Steam’s refund policy, you can ask them for your money back if you’ve played for less than 2 hours, so today I tried to beat Lightfall in under 2 hours so I could request a refund.

This is one of the craziest things that I’ve ever attempted in Destiny 2. On average, it takes 8 hours to beat the campaign, so trying to beat it in under 2 hours was a pretty daunting challenge. I spent a while learning some strats and coming up with ideas on how to optimize my run, so I hope you find it interesting! Also this video is pretty different from my usual style, so please let me know what you think!

Also this video is really just meant for entertainment purposes, of course I already have Lightfall on my main account and this is just a fun challenge I wanted to try on an account that didn’t have Lightfall. If you didn’t know already, if you look up while eager edging near enemies the sword won’t track nearly as much towards enemies as it would normally

You have a wonderful ability to tell a great story. Foreshadowing, explanation of major conflicts, motivations, and climaxes. Ability to build tension even when we suspect we know how it plays out.

When I ran the strike in the campaign, I literally spawned in the boss room with the boss at about half health. Had no idea what happened in the strike!

Just for future reference, when in tower if you have light wieght weapons, you get the speed boost with them equipped.

I think its funny that Osiris makes it out to be that we need strand in order to beat Calus, but without giving us access to any buildcrafting with it until after the campaign your other loadouts are much stronger the entire campaign and picking strand feels more like a punishment than a reward. You don't even have to use strand for any of the final mission if you don't want to.

I read the elevator is a high frame rate thing so if you go on the elevator, literally just tab out till you get to the top. I was stuck dying over and over like an idiot too. Wild. Great vid!

A quick tip for the elevators killing you, just Win+Tab right after jumping into it, and your FPS will be capped at 30 and it won't kill you. Click back into the game window when you land. Alt+Tab works too but you wouldn't be able to see the game window.

Tip for the elevators: just do them backwards. I was dying constantly until I tried it and get through every single time now. I decided to try it because I knew in Dares you can hit the elevator backwards to get Starhorse favor easily and it worked.

What I love about the Calus fight is that people complain about the tormentors.

But you can very easily bait them into jumping to their deaths when they jump to chase you onto the catwalks.
