I was impressed by how little artifacting I witnessed, signs and nameplates all good, a little on the rain, but that is evident in DLSS 2 anyway. A great start for DLSS 3, holding much promise for the future. Note DLSS 3 is not compatible with VR at the moment. Frame rates will be limited to the maximum refresh rate of your monitor, in my case 144Hz.

I have a 5800X3D and RTX4090 and I can tell you was well worth it. The frame generation takes fps toa whole new level. I use TAA instead of DLSS because it makes the screens blurry. I'll wait till Nvidia releases the DLSS update but for now I get 120+ fps at level flight with Fenix A320. The game is maxed out at 1440p. Even on the ground I get well over 60 fps at a major airport with dense traffic. The card is a beast you can't go wrong!

Was flying around Cyprus recently, went into graphics settings and noticed my terrain level of detail was set relatively low, like yours was, compared to my Ultra settings. Turned it way up and was blown away by the difference in the terrain of the island. Since then, it’s become THE most important setting to me.

Very nice I had i7 8700k and was stuck at 30 FPS Max at 4k ultra on my 4090 so just upgraded to i9 13900k so looking forward to playing the game at well over 60 fps in all its glory.

While I always appreciate your videos, it’s also worth noting that the absolute vast majority of people using the sim can’t even afford a 30 series card yet, let alone a 40 series card. It will be years (if ever) before most of us get a chance to use these cards.

This demonstration is very convincing! Thank you very much! I understood that latency could be an issue with DLSS 3 in VR, but apparently it isn't. I can't wait to receive the Asus TUF gaming RTX 4090 and experience it for myself! I am currently using an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X and if necessary I would consider upgrading my rig to an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD 7000 X3D that is expected early 2023.

Mark, thank you very much for the another informative video. As I understood to be able to see DLSS 3 option in MSFS menu, I have to switch on Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling . So I did so and this option of DLSS 3 is not available. I wandered about all of your system and MSFS settings, because I’m not getting such a good result with my RTX 4090. Looking forward to seeing a new video from you covering this subject. Thank you!

I really wish I could afford one of these cards. Flight Sim in VR is one of my main sims, and I am playing on an RTX 2070 currently.
