I Bought a Tesla Coil on AliExpress

With help from a college student, I made a large 35 inch tall Tesla Coil in high school for a science fair in 1967. This small one was $65. It can also serve as a speaker, though not a very good one. It came with two interchangeable tops, one straight which focuses the electricity, and another which spins. If you bring an LED or fluorescent light bulb close to it, the electric field makes it light up, with no hard wiring. Tesla thought we would be able to light our houses with no wires.
