EASY CROCHET BABY BOOTIES 0-3 MONTHS

In this tutorial I will show you how to crochet these gorgeous 0-3 months baby shoes in two colours

You will need DK yarn / no3 and a 3.5mm crochet hook. If your tension is tight use a 4mm hook

Written pattern for whoever needs it.

Abbreviations:
ch=chain
sc=single crochet
hdc=half double crochet
dc=double crochet
sl st=slip stitch
st=stitch
blo= back loops only
dec= decrease (two st together)

SOLE OF THE BOOTIES:

ROUND 1:
Slip knot and ch 9
Place 2 hdc into the 3rd st from the hook (ch 3 counts as a st)
5 hdc in each st
6 hdc in the same stitch
Turn work
5 hdc in each st
3 hdc in the same st
sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3
[22 st total]

ROUND 2 :
ch 3, place one dc in the same ch space you sl st in the previous round
2 dc in the same st (repeat one more time)
5 dc in each st
2 dc in each st (repeat 6 times in total)
5 dc in each st
2 dc in each st (repeat 3 times in total)
change color
[34 st total]

ROUND 3:
ch 3
34 hdc all the way around BLO
sl st in the first ch
(snip off ends if needed)

ROUND 4:
ch 1
hdc in same st you sl st in
9 hdc in each st
8 dec dc
9 hdc in each st
sl st to the first hdc

ROUND 5:
ch 1
hdc in the same st you sl st in
9 hdc in each st
4 dec dc
9 hdc in each st
change color

ROUND 6:
ch 1
sc in the same st you sl st in
sc 22 around
sl st in the first sc

weave in your yarn on the inside of the booties, dont let it show on the outside
fold the cuff
