In this video I lead you through the step-by-step process of checking your pond's water quality for the following elements: pH, ammonia, nitrate and nitrite levels.

All four of these levels are very important to the quality and health of your koi and goldfish in your outdoor pond.

The water testing kit I used was: API Freshwater Master Test Kit.

He didn't add bottle #1&#2 for Ammonia and Nitrate if you have this test kit read the instructions

Did you read your instructions? I have the same kit and your AMONIA instructions forgot a step from a second bottle that needs to be added.

You wanna draw water into the tube from at least 6 inches down. The top column of water naturally seperates because of natural phenomenon like convection currents

Your ammonia level was so low because you forgot to add the drops from the second bottle same for your nitrates

How do you keep your pond at 0 ppm of Ammonia?

You should remove this video.. You didn't read the instructions or do the tests correctly.
You only used bottle #1 of the Ammonia test and completely missed bottle #2.
Then you tested your Nitrite and Nitrate (missed bottle #2 again) and said that zero is where you wanted to be.. If your Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate levels are at zero then the biological bacteria that protects your fish and pond will die and your fish will die soon after.
Seriously.. Just remove the video because you're spreading wrong information that could result in people loosing their fish.

If you have to test high range pH for Koi, than your pH is too high. pH should be reading green, not blue using the API test

You should fill the tube deeper in the water not the surface.👍

Second half of video is all wrong.... why make a video if you cannot test the ammonia correctly lol. Why do you think it states bottle 1 or bottle 2 ...
