Not impossible at all. It is doable without the cut. I snapped 3 fingernails and my forearm was cramping like crazy after working on it for over 3 hours before i did it the first time. The trick ? Start pulling at the seam portion where it is folded under the lid. No cut needed.

The reason why you did not see and or hear the pressure escaping is because they already released it from the top of the can so it will not explode while opening it up.

I’d know because I have opened up many cans to open it up way before this became a video on YouTube. Just barely lift up on the tab that opens it up to let out the pressure. Nothing else.

Hello!
Just as a tip: Get yourself a certified FFP2/FFP3 mask (best from '3M', they are the most dense), which also protects yourself from COVID if it fits properly (no air flows past the side/top), because they filter the inhaled air and therefore also provide self-protection.

Normal masks "only" protect the people in the environment and not yourself. 😕
