12' MacBook vs 13' MacBook PRO - 2017 Models!

Comparing the 2017 MacBook vs the 2017 MacBook Pro. Its a tough choice but really depends what you use your MacBook for!

This video is kinda misleading in a way that the $1299 base model for the MacBook Pro is the one without Touch Bar whilst your video is showing the Touch Bar version. And the storage for the $1299 MBP non-TB is 128GB compared to 256GB you'll get on 12" MacBook.

Really helpful and honest review. I am a teacher and in that 90% of people you were talking about. It is very hard to find a review of the MacBook that keeps users like me in mind. If you're getting a second computer/laptop, go for the Macbook 12''. One for portability, one for the intensive tasks, which you shouldn't be doing on the go anyway.

Today, I just watched your video and I was able to find a used Macbook 2015 for $749 plus tax in NYC. I need it just for like you said in your video, portability, and simple tasks and some editing. I was very pleased with my purchased and when I went to set up my new MacBook at Apple Grand Central Station, I came across the USB converter you mentioned and I am all set. The guy at the store said I saved 55% on the price and come to find out it was only charged 6 times when reviewing the battery condition on the computer. I basically got a brand new computer! Anyways thanks a lot for your help. Greatly appreciated.

Kind of makes sense.

MacBook for ordinary users who don't do anything crazy.

MacBook Pro for Professionals or those who need higher specs.

I have found recently that my MacBook Pro from 2015 has more than enough power. It never slows down. It's always fast and does the job well. My other laptop which is a Windows Laptop also has an SSD, 8GB RAM and a i3 Processor. The only port I now use is the MagSafe charger.

So if I was to choose a newer MacBook. I would choose the MacBook over the MacBook Pro. I don't use it for gaming or editing 4K videos. I literally work on it, use the internet and watch videos on it.
