Let them suffer the low birth rate. Sometimes you have to let people learn the hard way.

I’m quite proud of women. Men can go on building their societies without women. Let’s see how far they get.

When your treated like an incubator instead of a woman aka a PERSON it’s very un-motivating to have a child. “Untapped resources.” Is very telling how they see women.

6:41 sexism. That's your answer. There's a lot of sexism in Italy. And everything is very expensive, especially kindergartens and schools. I know many women who were looking for a job and during the interview they were asked whether or not they wanted kids and if the answer was "yes", they didn't get the job. Being hired and getting a promotion is easier for men as they are seen as more capable, smarter, stronger and more professional then everyone else. Also women are paid less than men. It's hard to pay for childcare when your whole income goes to taxes and mortgage and your partner's income goes to food, clothes, gas for the car or just to fix the car and shit like that.

Women tell them what is needed for them not to opt out.

They wanna do dumb 💩 like give out pets. How is TWO babies going to help my issues?? 🤦🏾‍♀️ That wasn't in this video, but it's all the same. Theyre ignoring what women say

You cant expect women to work outside the home, make it difficult for them to do so, and then say they're expect to stay home, only to fuss about there not being enough money to live...we cant win for losing...so yeah, now I can see why they are opting out

The current PM is a woman who is in the far right. Like most right wing women, you can guarantee she'll never live by anything she says because she's rich . She'll get high paying jobs, go and study and live her dreams while her very few children will live in luxury being cared for servants and family. Things like family values, hard work, and selflessness-that stuff is for the peasants only. Let them eat cake....

I’ve seen commercials on YT for 1 Euro houses in Italy on YT. I’ve also seen ads for Italy saying to move there bc if you have grandparents or older gens that immigrated elsewhere you can move back no problem as long as you can prove it.

While it’s a nice dream, I’m white and can’t have kids any longer (I’m 53) every time I’ve seen those ads I’ve had alarm bells going off in the back of my head and my conscience/ gut screaming, “It’s a TRAP!”. Every 👏 Single 👏 Time 👏

Ladies, your gut never fails you - listen to your gut!

I have one son and the guy I am dating wants more kids after marriage. It’s a no for me dawg. School feels, clothes, travels, college and all the extras are just to much. I am done with one.

As a woman of colour, who married an Italian and had 2 children (born in Italy) and lived in Italy for about 5 years... I can say this :

No one ever told me that Italian men are notoriosly known as "mama's boys". This is the biggest issue by far. They don't want partners (though they say they do) they want mothers to take care of them and their children.

The patriarchy is alive and well. They've raised men with "traditional values", except when it comes to providing. I'm not the only case by the way.
They are notoriously mysoginistic, racist etc...

Obviously not all men. Italy is almost a 3rd world country in many aspects. Their treatment of women is just one example.

Italy has the oldest European population

They probably mean the number of births have equals the number of deaths in the past three months. Creating a net 0 for increase or decrease.

I wish women would coalesce and support each other in this endeavor. If somebody wants to stay home, they can watch a few more kids so that those moms can work. And those moms can throw some money to the stay-at-home mom for watching their kids. Now everybody's getting an income. Man want to remain in control, but it's just not going to happen. The tighter they try to hold on to control, the more it's going to work against them, hence low birth rates.

This Would Be A Lot More Impactful To Me Had It Not Been For Italy's Long Track Record Of Being Obnoxiously Racist, Sorry Not Sorry 😅🎉

Need to talk about the King Baby syndrome that even law makers tried to address in Italy.

I also saw a guy touring Napoli, Italy and they were talking about how Italy doesn't have a Boomer or Generation X because they were rebuilding after the war vs America who had a population boom at the time. Very interesting comparison i hadn't thought of.
Korea is .77 now. I'd like to see what the black American birthrate updated to for 2023 and 2024. It was low at 1.6 just above Japan. I think it's its 1.3 now.

It's happening pretty much everywhere...

Of course women will solely and entirely be blamed for this, without critics and politicians bothering to look at what is actually going on.
