just to clarify, she is not playing the glinda from the wizard of oz. she is playing Galinda (who later becomes Glinda) in the movie version of the broadway musical Wicked (amazing show btw you should see it!)

This is the wizard of oz! Or what I remember from the movie. The good witch talking to Dorothy. Ariana playing Galinda. The one that gives Dorothy the red slippers that tells Dorothy to click her red shoes together and say “there’s no place like home” I’ve never seen wicked. But Ariana is so cute.

Just to make sure nobody is confused, she is playing Glinda from the Wizard of Oz, but the story follows the Broadway musical version. Dorothy isn’t in the musical, and it’s all about Glinda and Elphaba (the Wicked Witch of the West). So while the story includes the same two characters (and munchkins) from the movie, the entire story is completely different from what you’ve seen in the Wizard of Oz!
