The MGB in 1992 was newer than the NA Miata is in 2022.

I live near Los Angeles and in 2002 at the age of 21, I bought a 1972 MGB Roadster in British Racing Green with beige interior. Fun little speedster that ran great for a few years before needing a repair!!! Classy and has character too!

This is the only car that is worth the same as 30 years ago. Even covid dit not increase the price. 10k usd, gbp or euro still buys you a nice early one.

They're great little cars and considering that parts availability on them is incredible, you can easily repair them with just a set of tools. I own a 66 MGB Mk1 Roadster and it has never given up on me ever since I bought it 1 and a half years ago. I think what really caught people by surprise on these roadsters was that they had a heater, radio, and wind-up windows, something that most of the small convertible cars back then didn't have back then due to the limited space inside the car.

Wow, I guess the prices/cost have gone up just a bit in 20 years. My favorite comment though was "bullet-proof mechanics".
